Our Prince
FAGU

In 2023, we adopted Fagu, a miniature Schnauzer with an inspiring story of resilience and hope. After losing one of his hind legs in a car accident, his former owner chose to have him euthanized. Thankfully, a compassionate veterinarian performed the surgery that saved Fagu’s life, but he spent 2.5 years in the cage waiting for a forever home.

Our own journey to adopting Fagu began almost 2 years after the loss of our beloved dog, Fi Chai. During our grief, we made an almost impossible wish: We will not get another dog unless we can encounter a free stray dog, we would name it Fagu. Not long after, a post on social media caught our attention—a shelter in China was seeking a home for a three-legged dog. We knew he was meant to be part of our family, a little angel chosen by Fi Chai.

From the moment he arrived, Fagu brightened our lives. His confidence, happiness, and bravery remind us that love can overcome any obstacle. He has not only healed our hearts but also inspired us to dedicate ourselves to rescuing other animals in need. Fagu’s journey is a testament to the power of second chances.

Our Angel (2004-2022)
FI CHAI

On Christmas Eve in 2004, our family welcomed Fi Chai, a spirited Shiba Inu who became our greatest gift. His bravery, loyalty, and independence inspired us to be better every day.

Fi Chai quickly became a cherished member of our family. His bright smile and cheerful personality brought joy not only to us but also to countless couples during their wedding ceremonies. With his charming antics and playful spirit, he added a unique touch to our celebrations, making each event more memorable.

At 17, he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, leaving a profound void in our hearts. Yet, as we grieved, we found strength in his legacy, channeling our love into rescuing dogs in need.

Though he’s no longer with us, Fi Chai’s spirit continues to guide us, reminding us to live with compassion and purpose. He will always be our beloved big brother.

Our Little Princess
MAJI

Maji is a petite princess from China who spent 4 long years in a shelter, overlooked due to her timid personality, slender frame, and unconventional looks. When we adopted her as our second rescue after Fagu, we knew she was destined to be part of our family.

Initially, Maji preferred her own space, but with love and patience, she blossomed into a sweet companion who follows us everywhere. While she still enjoys her personal space, Maji is now eager to explore and join in family celebrations.

Her journey from the shelter to our home was a gift chosen by our beloved Fi Chai, reminding us of the importance of compassion and resilience. Maji has become a symbol of hope, teaching us that beauty lies in the heart and every animal deserves a chance.
